1) Warehouse Is Open by Appointment Only
Since the government has advised us to avoid public gatherings and practice social distancing, we’ve closed our warehouse to pickups and deliveries without appointments. Our clients are requested to call to book a time for pickup and delivery of their vehicles. This will help us control foot traffic in the warehouse and limit the number of people gathered together at one time.
2) Pickup and Delivery at Client’s Residence
We’ve always offered our clients timely pickup and delivery of their vehicles to and have enjoyed interacting with them to learn what they felt about our services. We will continue to provide pickup and delivery to our clients’ residence, but our staff will practice social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus. 3) Online Help and Support by Staff Working Remotely
As a responsible employer, we understand the risks involved during this crisis. That’s why we’ve encouraged our back-office staff to work from home and stay safe. However, our employees know how important our services are and are providing online help and support to our clients while working remotely. They have access to all files and shipment details to ensure there are no disruptions to our normal day-to-day client correspondence.
4) Sanitization Schedule for Our Staff
As per guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (“Getting Your Workplace Ready for COVID-19“), we are taking every step possible to make sure our workplace is clean and hygienic. Our staff follows a sanitization schedule which includes:
- Regular and thorough handwashing.
- Use of hand-sanitizer on the go.
- Wiping down desks, tables, keyboards and telephones with disinfectant.
5) Rescheduling Available for Clients with COVID-19 Symptoms
